Don't judge me, okay?
But I have to be honest... last month I had what I can only describe as a complete summer wardrobe meltdown.
Picture this: I'm getting ready for a family graduation barbecue. I slip on my favorite flowy maxi dress—you know the kind, loose and "comfortable"—thinking I look effortlessly chic.
Then I catch myself in the full-length mirror and nearly cry.
I looked like I was wearing a tent. A shapeless tent that somehow made me appear pounds heavier than I actually am.
My waist? Completely gone. My figure? Buried under fabric that seemed to hang from the widest part of my body and just... drop straight down.
And here's the worst part—I was already dreading the thought of squeezing into my suffocating shapewear just to feel halfway decent in the heat.
You know that summer style paradox, right? Where you want to be comfortable and cool, but you also don't want to look like a walking laundry bag?
